About Sean
We are all living out some pretty wild questions.
Some of mine include: How do I make the most of this precious life? How do I serve what is sacred? How do I leave this earth a little more beautiful than when I arrived?
For much of my life, I have felt a tug-of-war between dedicating myself to therapy and dedicating myself to art. Recently, I have surrendered the rope and begun asking how might art serve life, and how might I serve what is holy?
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and have been practicing psychotherapy since 2013. My training includes five years of study at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, Somatic Experiencing, and psychedelic-assisted therapy through Therapsil and Ecstatic Mysticism.
Over the past several years, I’ve deepened my work through nature-based practices with the Animas Valley Institute, and study with teachers such as Martin Shaw, Daniel Foor, and several medicine people from the Southern Hemisphere.
Before working as a therapist, I worked as an artist in performance, design and community-engaged art.
