A six-week exploration of creativity, ritual, and group process led by Sean Frey

This six-week group brings together therapeutic practice and creative process to explore the beauty and challenges of our lives. Drawing from Gestalt therapy, somatic awareness, movement, and creative experimentation, we gather as an ensemble to explore how our lived experience can become the source material for ritual and performance.

Together we attend to our own lives and to what unfolds between us, allowing both to become the raw material for creative exploration. Through personal process, embodied experimentation, improvisation, dialogue, and collaborative creation, we explore how this material can be witnessed, transformed, and given form through image, movement, ritual, and performance.

We work from the premise that every group carries echoes of the larger worlds we inhabit. The relationships, conflicts, and moments of connection that unfold between us often reflect patterns found in our families, communities, and wider culture.

Our time together will culminate in a co-created ritual or “happening” that emerges organically from the group’s journey.

  • Creative experimentation — working with image, movement, voice, ritual, and improvisation to discover new forms of expression.

  • Collaborative creation — shaping what emerges from our shared journey into a co-created ritual or “happening.”

Who this group is for:

  • Those who feel a longing to create, explore, and encounter something deeper.

  • Those sensing that something new is asking to emerge.

  • Those curious about the relationship between inner transformation and collective expression.

  • Artists, therapists, seekers, and anyone drawn to the meeting place of creativity, ritual, and relationship.

No artistic or performance experience is necessary. What matters is curiosity, presence, self-responsibility, and a willingness to enter into a process with others.

$320 (before September 25), $400 (after September 25)

This group is best suited for those with a foundation of self-awareness and a willingness to engage with personal material in a relational setting. A brief conversation is required prior to registration to ensure a good fit.
